A Massive Crowd of Youth Gathered at the AMP and Hamdard Mega Job Fair!

Candidates from Delhi and Other States Came in Search of Employment: Farooq Siddiqui

The Mega Job Fair, jointly organized by the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP), Jamia Hamdard University, and Hamdard Learning and Welfare Society, witnessed the participation of thousands of unemployed youth searching for jobs at Jamia Hamdard University in South Delhi.

The Job Fair was officially inaugurated by Jamia Hamdard’s Chancellor Hammad Ahmed, Vice Chancellor Professor Afshar Alam, Sajid Ahmed, Farooq Siddiqui, Khwaja Shahid, Shaukat Mufti, and Professor Manju Chughani. Speaking to the youth in the auditorium, Professor Afshar Alam highlighted the community outreach initiatives undertaken by Hamdard Welfare Society and Hamdard University.

Farooq Siddiqui, the organizer of the Job Fair and AMP National Head Coordination, shared that although the Job Fair was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, youth began arriving at Jamia Hamdard campus as early as 8:00 AM, forming long queues. Registration continued until 4:00 PM. He noted that apart from Delhi, youth from nearby states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana also participated in the event.

Farooq Siddiqui further mentioned that 74 companies had registered for the Job Fair, offering a total of 13,107 job opportunities. Addressing the youth in the university auditorium, he encouraged them to contribute to the development of society and the nation after securing employment. He advised all participants to mentor at least one student from an underprivileged background, helping them move forward in their careers in the right direction. All the attendees pledged to work in this direction.

Shaukat Mufti, the organizer of the Job Fair and Secretary of Hamdard Society, stated that this was their eleventh Job Fair in collaboration with AMP. He also shared that they had previously organized Job Fairs in cities like Mumbai, Aurangabad, and Srinagar, continuing the legacy of social service established by Hakim Abdul Hameed.

Altmash Mohammad, Head of AMP Delhi Team, stated that this was their 99th Job Fair, which turned out to be highly successful, with many youth securing jobs. Delhi Secretary Dr. Aftab Alam shared that the participating companies were very satisfied and selected a large number of candidates. Some candidates were shortlisted for the next round and invited to the company for final interviews with their documents.

The success of the Job Fair was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Professor Farhat Basir, AMP team members including Abdus Sami Faizi, Monu Khan, Shafi Ullah, Arif Hussain, Shadab Ahmed, Saboor Ahmed, Gayyur, and the administrative team.
