New Delhi, ITO – A mega job fair organized by the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) in collaboration with Hamdard Learning Welfare Society witnessed a massive response at the Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind headquarters on ITO Road, Central Delhi. The event brought together thousands of unemployed youth from Delhi and neighboring states, making it one of the most significant employment initiatives in the region.

With special support from the Working Journalists Club and Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, the job fair kicked off early in the morning, attracting candidates as early as 8 AM.

The event was officially inaugurated by Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind; Farooq Siddiqui, National Head – Coordination, AMP; Shaukat Mufti from Hamdard Group; Farzan Qureshi; Professor Manju Chugani; and Altamash Mohammad. During the inaugural session, Maulana Qasmi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and pledged full support from Jamiat for such socially beneficial and nation-building initiatives.

Speaking at the event, Job Fair Key Organiser Farooq Siddiqui shared that this was AMP’s 108th mega job fair, with over 700 employment drives previously conducted across India by the organization. He acknowledged the crucial support received from government institutions, corporates, academic institutions, and NGOs in ensuring the success of these drives.

The job fair received added momentum with the visit of local MLA Aaley Mohammad Iqbal, who toured the venue, engaged with recruiters and candidates, and extended his congratulations to the organizing teams. He praised AMP, Hamdard, the Working Journalists Club, and Jamiat for their collaboration and affirmed his continued support for future such employment-focused initiatives nationwide. Over 50 corporates with 15000+ vacancies participated in this mega job fair.

The job fair featured opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 10 pass-outs to postgraduates and professionals. A large number of attendees were able to secure on-the-spot employment offers. According to the organizers, the sight of selected youth with bright smiles brought immense satisfaction and a sense of purpose to the entire team.

Shaukat Mufti of Hamdard acknowledged the event’s success and expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts of AMP, Jamiat, the Working Journalists Club, and the volunteers who contributed tirelessly.

The credit for the fair’s seamless execution also goes to AMP Delhi’s team, including Altamash Mohammad, Shafiullah, Faizi Wasiq, Arif Hussain, Raza, Imran, and Ghayyur of HWLS, who played pivotal roles in planning, coordination, and on-ground support.

This mega job fair stood as an Classic example of what can be achieved through united efforts aimed at empowering the youth and addressing unemployment — a model that can be replicated across the country.
